biography on Todd Kowalik

  about the artist...

Nestled in a cedar cottage overlooking a small lake in the Gatineau Hills is where you will find him working on his newest creations.

A self-taught artist, Kowalik sold his first paintings while still in secondary school. He specializes in wildlife and scenic artwork, working mainly in water colour, acrylic, pencil, pen & ink and has collectors throughout North America.

Graduating as a computer programmer analyst, and also working as a consultant in the automotive industry, Kowalik continued to sell paintings and do commissions wherever possible. But art has always been Todd's passion and he has began devoting all of his time exclusively to fine art.

Todd's "non-art" interests, in addition to family activities, include photography, swimming, cross-country skiing, bird watching, organic vegetable gardening, playing guitar and hiking.
